I am applying for the 2026/27 Summer Internship in Banking and Financial Services. BFS sits closer to the end customer than most of the group. The wrap platform and the broker channel are businesses whose economics I can actually follow, and that is the part of banking I want to learn in.
As Treasurer of the UNSW Business Society I manage a $42,000 annual budget across eleven event portfolios. Last year I rebuilt the forecasting model after two events came in 30% over budget, then held portfolio heads to monthly reforecasts. We finished the year $3,100 under budget with one more event than the year prior. It is small money, but the discipline is the same one BFS runs on: someone owns the number, and the number is checked.
Academically I am strongest where the modelling is explicit: FINS2624 Portfolio Management and ACCT2542 Corporate Reporting, both distinctions. I placed second of 41 teams in the UNSW Investment Society valuation competition this year, arguing a position on a listed platform business, which is where my interest in wrap economics started.
I have also spent two years in casual customer service, which taught me the unglamorous half of client work: people remember how a problem was handled more than whether it happened.
Macquarie is my first preference for this summer, and BFS specifically. I would welcome the chance to talk it through.

No, not unless you ask it to. "Review before submit" is on by default: Jobify prepares the whole application, shows you the CV version, the tailored answers and every field it filled, and waits for your approval. You can turn it off per-role once you trust it.
The opposite. Each application starts from your saved answers and is rewritten for that employer, division and role, then attached to the CV version that fits. You set the tailoring level (light, standard or deep) and a daily cap so you never look like a bot to a recruiter.
Jobify fills the same forms you would: Workday, Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, PageUp, SuccessFactors and a few others. When a portal emails a verification code, Jobify reads it from your connected inbox and enters it, then files the email against the right application.
So recruiter replies, interview invitations and verification codes land next to the application they belong to instead of getting lost. Jobify only reads mail related to your applications, never sends without you pressing send, and you can disconnect at any time.
